M4cR1II3n's Venetian Dogs of War: New - Birdmen of Catrazza!
#1
Okay, I'm reposting this now on the new forum. It will be easier to access now in the beginning as you don't need to go through 10 pages of posts before getting to all the pictures. As I go I will update this thread with pics of new finished unit in the first post, instead of posting a new one. This is too further simplify finding everything.

Looking good.

Love the Guy Fawkes mask on the Assassin.

You need Lumpin Croop's unit. Smile

Your army looks quite impressive M4cR1II3n. Any chance of a group shot? I think since you chose similar colour scheme (Or at least, most units have the bronze, red link) it'd look pretty amazing as a whole.

I am impressed with the army shots.

I just wish the Dogs of War players in my area still played them regularly. I haen't seen one up close in 3 years.

Nicely done, What is the grass called on your bases? (most usally just go with the sand grains stuff).

Thanks! Smile

@ Uryens: The Paymaster's bodyguard are Steelhead Halberdiers from Warmachine. And the Elephant rules have been helpful, I will have finished Warhammer rules for them soon. Might keep away from posting them yet though, as all the other add-ons got poofed in the crash, and I didn't had them saved on my comp. Still got them in my head though.

@ Jikoun_Blackmane: The grass is just common static grass. I originally only used grass on the bases, but that looked a bit dull, so I have added some gravel to most of them. All will have it eventually, I just haven't come around to do it yet, as there are a lot more fun things to do than rebasing.

I use gravel and static grass/flock on my bases. Woodland Scenics has loads of varients of gravel, grasses and other scenic materials. You can find them in the model railroad section of most hobby shops (and some craft stores.)

I figure that's what it was but wanted to make sure. Just don't see many grass/flock bases.

P.S. Bilbo, might want to cut back on the coffee and RedBull. I am begain to wonder if you ever sleep.Tongue

I slept for about 7-8 hours. Tongue

I don't drink Red Bull, I like my heart inside my chest.

Look at my Slayers and you'll see some my typical bases. My Chaos Dwarfs are based for winter.

Nice. Your army does indeed look amazing when you view it as a whole. I was afraid that the White Hasharin guys might stand out a bit (Compared to all the reds and bronze flying around) but they seem to fit in fine.
