Very nice - I like the cream and green colour scheme more than the darker one you had going for the captain the first time. The skin tones look good- not European, but not really dark. Well Done.

But are you using them with some specific rules, Mac?
Like a GW Armybook, our Dogs of War Chronicles, or a Fan-Armybook? Any links?
Your know, the Caliph reminds me of the Stronghold: Crusader Caliphs... you named him The Scorpion as well?
Oh, I forgot to say: Your Imans are impressive as well!

Thanks, I prefer the new colour scheme too (why else bother repainting him? :p). I wasn't sure about the skintone at first, thinking it might be a bit too light, but I'm glad to hear that's not the case.

I'm surprised you haven't seen the rules development forum :

And no, I haven't played crusader stronghold, so I wouldn't know. I just bought him from ebay because he had a lot of armour and looked arabyan
As for the Imams: I'm currently painting on my fourth one, which is definitely the coolest yet. He should be finished soon.

Oh, I passed right over that one. Haven't noticed.
Thanks Mac! I can only say, keep on doing the good work! Your army is one of the coolest themed armies I've ever seen in Fantasy!
Do you think about crafting some pieces of scenery for these guys? Say, a small mosque? Maybe a desert encampment?

Haven't thought much about doing some scenery, I suppose I might sometime in the future though. Focusing on the painting and finishing up the rules atm.

Calm down Kera, I just said I hadn't thought about it, not that I wasn't going to. If I still feel like making scenery after I finish painting the army, I will.
On the painting front, I just finished up another 9 models as well as the banner motif for my BSB and painted eyes on all my characters. Pics of these will be up in short.

Have you considered the mini of Empire elector count of Ostland, ( I assume you know how it looks like)? He looks kind of exotic for an empire charachter, but would fit fine in your army IMO.

You mean Valmir von Raukov? The really russian looking guy?
I have been thinking of using that model, but for my Kislev army in that case. I already have Suliman the Saracen as a mounted general, which fits a lot better imo (mainly because he's actually from Araby ).

Finished my Saladin model, my Dibbukim (religious fanatics) as well as a mounted caliph/sheikh.

Wow, some of those girls are going to have major back issues...

However there are reports that he is stirring once more, and Gok Wan has been sighted venturing into the Nagashizzar. Once his make over is complete, the Old World is doomed.

Finally another update! Been quite busy writing on the Araby book (as well as playing CoD and the latest S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game) so it has taken a while. Anyway, here's the latest batch:
Corsairs with Captain:
Onager with crew:
Prince of Thieves:
