Hmm, looks quite similar to my list, which isn't a bad thing in itself, but I'm just wondering how you are going to make it different?

I see you have the addition of Tengu which I like (which I'm working on for version 1.1), and the Hatamoto Cavalry (my list will include Red Devils instead), as well as Elementals (an idea I scrapped). But Inugami AND Kitsune? How are you planning on separating them, they seem quite alike from what I've seen. One thing though; Where are the Warrior Monks!?

Thanks M4c but about Inugami and Kitsune - Inugami are going to be a bit like Vargulfs and Kitsune will be a magical dog (as they are in your book). Oh and about the Warrior Monks - they are more Cathay and Ind to me.

The impression I get when reading through my Skaven Army Book is that Clan Eshin is based in Cathay not in Nippon and also, why would Skaven (a force of Chaos) help a force of Order?

Inugami is actually the dog, Kitsune is a fox Wink

Warrior Monks (Sohei) are actually more Nippon than anything else, Cathay would have Shaolin Monks instead. Would Ind have warrior monks at all?

I would personally say Eshin is more based on Nippon than Cathay, due to the ninja similarities. Cathay would have martial arts, but not so much stealth. Eshin is more about stealth than unarmed combat imo.

Well, I was going to get something wrong so at least thats out of the way!

Ind will have monks because the monks are based in the mountains between Cathay and Nippon and I might include monks in Nippon - let my think on it (Tongue).

I completely agree with you on Clan Eshin - I just don't want to break established fluff thats in the Skaven Army Book (but I will also think on this one - as long as someone gives me a reason why some evil chaos rats would help a noble and proud force of order).

The land of the celestial dragon monks that lie between Ind and Cathay are actually part of Cathay, so monks should only be in there imo.

And I don't think Eshin would necessarily help Nippon, they would rather spy on them to learn their secrets, or offer them warpstone. Remember, they are learning the code of the Ninja, not the Samurai Wink
