I had a look at the GW-site and found they are going to sell new mini's in celebration for their 8th edition (I think).
There are duelists and even a handler and a bear.
The duelists make good champions for our units I think. Even the merchant looks like a good paymaster. The bear and handler might be good models for a kislev warband of sorts.

They look really nice
Hehe, just saw them! The bear and his handler is great, quite a nice idea. Same for the Champions, as you said, they make nice champions. And for the fat guy...perfect paymaster, with his lad being the guy who lends the dogs money.

Just bought the duellists, deceided to wait to buy the rest as the collectors edition is a bit expensive and I would've spent too much if I'd bought them all at once. I am going to buy them as I have been meaning to do a beorg unit and that bear would work nicely as beorg.
Perhaps they are finally throwing us a bone? Most of those new minis fit in better with Dogs of War than empire...
Empire/Dogs of War are the same thing really
But they are at teh top of my "to buy" list.
While those miniatures look great! I'm starting to feel worried we may be smooshed into the Empire book come 8th edition Empire.
Wondering what other miniatures the 8th edition release has up it's sleeve. I did think it was odd that there would be a month without miniatures.
So very awesome and sweetness all around! Ordered my duelists yesterday, and I for one am planning on using the as actual duelists once I find three more suitable models. Until then, captains I guess. Seeing as 8th edition will allow for more cheap characters, they might stay in the character section...

If it will be imperiale Ogres, Dwarfs and Halflings, I will be glad.
Very nice minis !! But saving my dosh for the book def won't need those minis i'm afraid the book itself will cost enough !
