Hello everyone,
I'm currently in the "Breeding Phase", which means that I'm working to enlarge my Dogs Of War Horde...
I already possess:
- 1 Mounted Paymaster/Hero
- 1 Paymaster on Foot (Model of Mydas)
- 8 Ironguts
- 8 Leadbelchers
- Ruglud' Armoured Orcs (10)
- Alcanti Fellowship (11 Modells, no Roderigo, maybe an Imperial Hero for him?)
- A single Maneater
- 2 Mercenary Wizards on Foot, 1 Dark Emissary (Nurgle Sorcerer model)
- 6 panther knights, which i will use as Voland I think
Now I want to expand this a bit and this are my thoughts:
- A box of Empire Militia + a box of Pistoliers = 2x8 Duelists with Pistols + 5 Light Cavalry
- A box of Grave Guard + a box of skeleton warriors = Kreugar's Cursed Company (9 Modells + Kreugar, another 10 for "Join us in Damnation...")
- Another 2 Maneaters (Ninja and Pirate would be best), for a solid Unit of 3 Fatguys with Great Weapons
- High Elf Dragon Box as Asarnil or maybe a Wizard Lord on Pegasus
This would give me a solid core to build upon, but it leaves one problem out: I have almost no pikemen!
Maybe I'll invest in a Box of Ricco's men, but theyre only 12 and i want to field 1 or 2 larger units...
So I googled abit and found Old Glory pikemen... ( http://www.oldgloryuk.com/disp_item.php?c=273&oc=3241 ) and after seeing Number9's beautiful Crossbowmen a box of them seems quite nice too!
The only problem I see is, that there are almost no pictures on Old Glory. The pikemen are a rare exception... but I dont find the crossbowmen of Number9 in this shop, it confuses me abit...
Maybe you can light my way up a bit? Does my plan look any good or is it just nonsense? What would you change? And finally: Can you help me with Old Glory?
