i foud a couple of armybooks on the net that i think deserve a playtest of some sort, i read them, and the araby armybook of m4...(i cant remember the rest) is better, but see for your selve, anyway here are they: http://homepages.ihug.co.nz/~dpken/warhammer/orient.htm

As beiing a conservative catholic, I like the idea of the Spanish...urr...Estelian Holy Inquisition Angel!

Burn heretic...burn! Big Grin
Those lists were a great base to work on my army books. I used some fluff and ideas from that Araby book in mine. What I dislike about these lists however (ignoring the fact that they are really outdated is the following:

Araby list only has nomads, sheikh's guard and corsairs as real human units, the rest of the army list consists of monsters and lizardmen. And there is waaay to many characters slots. 3 hero choices of wizards? wtf?

Cathay list is hardly based on china at all, almost all units and characters are Japanese samurai, ninja or monks. I like the fluff and such, but the actual army list could be a lot better. Naturally, I will try to make a better, more updated version as soon as I finish the Araby book Angel

The Inquisition list is basically Codex: Witch Hunters but in fantasy. A bit too weird imo. The Estalia list is okay, but naming all the units in Spanish and Latin is just plain annoying. Instead of calling them "BALLESTEROS" you would be much better off with just saying Crossbowmen, that way everyone get an idea of what they are.

In short: these lists are pretty good for inspiration and fluff, but as functionally goes, they could be a lot better.
yeah, i dont understand them, to many text Smile, ur armybook is better, and has prince of persia and assasins greed pics, what does a man want more?

One can only dream... Rolleyes
but, when does the nippon/china armybook coms out?
I would make two different army books of those, one for Cathay and one for Nippon. When they come out I cannot say, I have only have first drafts of them so far. Depending on how much time I have to work on them, maybe a year or so Tongue

I'm also working on a Kislev list (on hold while finishing the Araby book), and then it's Cathay. No point in holding your breath so to speak.
sounds like you have a lot to do, well, have fun with playtesting!
I hate these lists. I have played with them and I think their rules are bad, the honour system for Cathay (I think) doesn't make any sense and the formatting is bad. All in all I would say do not play with these lists, they are just bad.
