The army is looking good.
I'm really liking the Orges you are using as ushabti of usurian.
thankye bilbo, now why don't we have a pipe n a chat tagetha?
We can chat but I haven't done the smoking thing (IRL: allergic to cigerette smoke).
IMPOSTER!!! you are not bilbo! you have failed the test!
but seriously, pics tommorow.
Cigerettes and Pipes don't get filled with Pipeweed (like Longbottom's Leaf) anymore. The current stuff will kill you.
Liking the Conversions Lord Marcus.
Oh and my pipe is filled with either Players navy or Whiskey rub
looks great !!are you going to add a giant skeleton too
you are still an imposter bilbo.
@ baumann, thanks man.
@ kera, yes i am planning to, even though they are the crappiest unit in the army book. at least in rules.

explain to me your reasoning. a bone giant is basically a one shot unit. with weapon skill 3, not many of thier attacks are probable go off, and this includes the improbabillity of thier special attack doing any real extra damage. and your likely to charge said giant into a ranked enemy unit. taking into consideration the above points, he would get only a few fatal wounds off, he would not outnumber, and combat res would be stacked in the enemies favor, producing crumbling, which takes away 220 pts of your army. terror hardly out wieghs this loss when it could be spent on something more effective, such as another SSC, or tomb scorpions.
that being said, i like the bone giant, and i'll take one anyway, as much for fluff reasons as i'd like to paint one.

It means his arm was too short when reaching for his wallet.
Imagine if you sculpted one Kera.
no, its means i didn't have enough money.
actually, if kera could sculpt the skull/head, it would be a big help. i'd pay her for it, too.

Have you really played the same army as me? He'll hit on a 4+ against units, wound on 2+. The way you're arguing it sounds like you charge him in alone and hope he smashes things up. He is a lot of points but you can definitely get mileage out of him, if not for his actual use in combat then for the threat he represents to your opponent. He can also be healed iirc if things are going poorly for him. I use him against the enemy's chump T3 or T4 , mid to low armor save units combined with chariot charges. Not everyone out there tries to run the no brainer dual catapults.
Sounds likt the Skeleton Giant is a good choice but like regular giants you need to supply them a little support, or they support another unit.
Tell me a size!! we can work something out
Kera, you may want to draw it out first.
All I know is 50x50mm base, Height can be fairly tall as long as it fits on the base.

giant sized?

take a look at my war in the winds thread in the back alley, i have some screenshots in there of WAR bone giants, mabe you can draw inspiration from those.
How about a 8 inch high pile of bones.

no, it must be constructed together as a bone giant, i will not have a pile of bones. ctually, i have 1 sculpting project already planned, and that is a "tomb lord" for troll forged miniatures (we just got a demon lord and some monsters in! check it out) but by the time i get around to sculpting the bone giant, i'll have my box of greenstuff and tube of brownstuff, so i'll be able to attempt such a massive artifice.
speaking of which, kera, i have to talk to you about this bone giant sculpt, please pm me when you have time, thanks!
Maybe have the pile of bones forming into the Giant.
that might work.....i don't know yet.
