Empire and the like 2250 points
Ogres, Beastmen and Dogs of War 2500 points.
-1st battle against ogres 10 / 10 draw (we only played 4 rounds, still a nice game to play. Ogre magic and CC take up a lot of time!)
-2nd battle Dark Elves 6 / 14 loss (my first time againts Dark Elves in the new edition. Horrible when you don't expect something cheesy like that, brrrr. Still it was not a waste of time, after an entire year of not playing, my first real dogfight. And I didn't get wiped completly

)
-3rd battle Beastmen 20 / 0 victory (Scores like these on tournaments with good players is almost impossible. One mistake from my enemy and a bad roll sequence from his side decided it all. It would have been a win for me without his badluck. Just not this big.

)
-4th battle Dark Elves 4 / 16 loss. (Although my biggest loss in the tournament it was the closest run battle I have played in the tournament. His Hydra just didn't wanted to drop.... In the 4th round both of our armies where as good as gone, if the hydra died it could have been a draw... he saved both wounds... Very good game a lot of fun in it, very nice opponent)
-5th battle Dark Elves 15 / 5 Winn (Just my luck, 24 players and I get to play against ALL 3 DE players... nice... Well ... It was no battle it was a horror scenario which no one could have thought off.

.... Half of my army dissintrigated in turn 2, both battle lines crushed into each other and my troops broke.. as the entire DE army turned towards my left flank it really started to look grimm. At the beginning of turn 3 I wanted to give up..

but .... he came for a game, so I decided to hang in till the end. Giving up without a fight seemed unsportive

to me.
-turn 3 I realligned my shooting line and my magic users fled towards my left flank as the centre was about to get overrun. Lumpins shot the last furies of the field.
-turn 4 my ogres kill the last Dark Elf halberdeers (black guard) and send his BSB running, in the proces attacking the cauldron. He attacked Deathfang with the hydra, deathfang stands ground. I get 75% of a unit executioners with my magic and my shooting, his assassin gets it to.
-turn 5 the cauldron breaks and the ogres overrun in the rallied BSB, Voland help the ogres as the BSB just doesn't want to die. I kill the remaining executioners and half a wich elf unit... and Deathfang still hangs on, barely but he still fights!
-turn 6 The witchelves got shot up completely, leaving 1 unit from the entire enemy battle line intact. And yes! match winner: Deathfang kills the hydra after 5 round of combat, with only 1 wound remaining, the handlers break and deathfang is on the lose again, running into a very unlucky shades unit!

The game was turned!!)
My opponent and I both agreed it was one of the best games we ever played!
