Nope, there is never going to be a new Dogs of War book released, not ever. If you want an army that is going to be accepted at all tournies, including official ones, then Dogs of War are not the force for you.
Funny, I'n going to one in a couple of weeks that, if I win, will give me a free ticket to the N. American GT - and I'm using Dogs of War, but if I wanted to I could also use my CDs.
And yet despite that, there are many tournaments that will not allow the Dogs, for whatever reason.
As them if they're not allowing any other legal armies. Cause if they're looking at ones not updated since 6th ed, then there's quite a list.

That is a shame, but I have deliberately made my force be able to be played as an Empire army too. Once I add a few more models, some will not be Empire-compatable, but no matter.
I wasn't really asking about Tourney play, more I like reading the fluff

It is worth saying that I have yet to meet a single person who has objected to me playing my army in friendly games, and if you give a tournament organizer a little advanced warning and don't make a big deal of it, they will almost always let you enter with Dogs of War.
