Have you guys thought about donig a 'Tale of Four Gamers' article for the Mag? I know a lot of other mag's and fansties have done it, but that's because it's good for filler. Not to mention since everyone sees things differently it's always interesting to read other peoples thoughts and opinions. Perhaps glean something amazing. Also a good way to show people that Dogs of War aren't that hard of an army to build. Listing models your using, etc...
Just a thought, I would be kean to do something like this since I'm starting my Dogs of War.
I'd like to join in on that, using my Araby army if possible. My Dogs of War is hardly starting up, it's already at over 7000 pts
Tale of Four Gamers is interesting but requires everyone to be consitant on it issue after issue.
I'm not so worried about filler I have this down pat now.
I could probably go in for a Tale of Four Games kinda thing... the only problem is I suppose. If it's 2-3-4 Dogs of War players doing it, then to keep things interesting you really need to have different style lists.
Otherwise it's kinda like "Yeah, this month I painted Asarnil. Cool right, he's a Dragon, rawr". Next guy "Oh yeah... this month I painted Asarnil as well! Great minds think alike right? LoL". Then 1 issue later... 2 more Asarnil's show up! Tale of X Gamers works better when you've got a variety of stuff to show.
But when I reckon when I get my 1000-2000 points painted, I'll do a showcase or something for the Gold and Glory. Shouldn't be long now... got a 1750 tourney in March, and beyond that it's just my lord.
Well if I was doing it, which is very unlikely, you could guarantee one without Asarnil. Lumpin Croops and Long Drongs pirate slayers yes, dragon no.
I am also planning on skimping on Mr. Dragonhead.
It was just an idea. Something that could fill pages. *shrug* Do a tale of 1 gamer. I'll be happy to write up articles about starting them. LOL!
I thought of a Tale of X Gamers article but wasn't sure i people would go for it.
I personally go for fluff based armies, so no dragon for me.
Perhaps an exclusive to Gold and Glory is to have a tale of four gamers of different armies and/or sites. This could be difficult to pull off but has merit.

So when does development for issue 4 start? When is it due out?

I think the release of Issue 4 (it's technically a Quarterly) will be late March early April.
