Surprisingly, one of the ETC players is fielding Dogs of War armies...

I'm not quite sure how he's fielding 15 Manflayers, but his basics look pretty sound.
Yes, an army with Arsanil plus "Mengil Deathstar" plus 8 hungry maneaters is definitly a nasty thing for the enemy!

Don't sure about they weaponry. But whole list is good. Many unit for PM. I will ask my friends to foto his army, and then posts in here.

ETC results are coming in:
http://www.wh-etc.com/en/whfb/results
Round 1, vs. Sweden's Daemons = DRAW 10-10
Round 2, vs. Slovenia's Dark Elves = DRAW 10-10
Round 3, vs. Switzerland's Daemons = WIN 13-7
It looks like the lone Dogs of War player is holding his own, although he's up by 250 or 500 pts in each mach with a 10% or 20% VP handicap being applied. Which means that the ETC-style comp systems is doing a decent job to give Dogs of War a fighting chance.
Well done!
Look at all those cookie cutter lists.
High Elves, general, dragon armour, halberd, star dragon
Dark Elves, general, heavy armour, sea dragon cloak, shield, lance
Empire, arch lector, armour, war alter etc
It was nice to see the variation of a Dog of War list.
Hey, at least we all know what's good...

Updated additional results:
Round 4: vs Skaven = WIN 11-9
Round 5: vs Empire = DRAW 10-10
Round 6: vs Skaven = LOSS 8-12
Day 2 results = 1-1-1
This makes my Daemon challenge look more feasible for me. However, I have not looked at the Daemon book in any depth and am unsure what will come of double rare choices and more than 9 PD being allowed, not to mention special characters.
I really need to analyze the Daemon book and consider some of your suggestions.
Note that he has a *really* good army.
Characters are just about perfect - the only change would be Truthsayer for the lv.2, if it were allowed.
Core is excellent - all inexpensive, efficient support units, no wasted points.
Specials are also awesome with lots of Maneaters and max Mengil, along with Norse for pure killing.
I will count how many Mengil DE I have. 450 points for 15 guys is crazy but considering they are almost impossible to shoot at, they should get their shots off a time or two. Question, though. Are the regular shots AP or just Mengil's?
I didn't think any of them were AP.
The Repeater Crossbows and crossbow pistol are not Armour Piercing.

@ Bilbo
Thank you for confirmation. BTW, do you have a PDF of the Special Characters? I don't want to dig through my box of WD to find them if I don't have to.
I don't have all the SC's for the army, I do have a few in a PDF.

Do you know what Mengils manflayers specific rule for posion is? It says dark venom but what does dark venom do?
Dark Venom is on page 22 of the 6th Edition of the Dark Elves army book, poisoned attacks with weapon coated with it.
Dark Venom is on page 99 of 7th Edition book, says all wounds inflicted in a challenge are doubled up to maximum overkill.
Since the unit was created using 6th edition DE rules (and since rank and file cannot make challenges) I would play it as being poisoned attacks, since they were pointed for that. You could try contacting GW if you want a conformation, they don't answer my emails. I did check the DE FAQ from 1-2009 and there is no mention of Mengil's Manflayers in it.
