Hello all,

It's been a looooong time since my last post, but I have been working on some stuff. I have been using the dogs recently as Empire, with excellent results, but am still using a lot of Dogs of War models in it. So, update time:

First up, my paymaster/ captain Napoleon:

And his unit of halfling spearmen or spearmen, and ogre unit filler:

Kera takes notes : this would make cool hobbit pirates
great job flim flam
The Napoleon halfling is simply awesome! Great work so far!
Thanks everyone!

I'll finish posting everything I've finished so far, and then maybe later some wips.

Ricco's republican guard/spearmen:

Cannons:

Crossbowmen(different background. Which do you like better? White or blue?)

Blue for the background. It'll match the suede for the halfling musician - "Thank you. Thank you very much."

How are you doing your yellow? It looks very nice and since I find yellow to be hard to get right I'd like to know.

The yellow is Ayunden darksun, gryphonne sephia wash, the highlights of Ayunden and deneb stone. Simple!Smile

Thanks - I like simple.
Hey all,

went to a 1999 point tournie yesterday, not a big one just 12 people. I used my Empire, and played 3 rounds. Dark elves, then skaven, then bretonnians. I got a solid victory over the dark elves and skaven, and massacred the bretonnians. I came away with the Best overall award and some store credit. Not too shabby!

I'll try to make some battle reports later.

Cheers

Great looking Empire army u got there, Ricco's and the haflings being my favourite. Great paint job as well...and just how do u manage to paint so quickly?!
congratulations on the winning!
Very nice, the peck (a Willow reference for us old guys) Napoleon was fantastic. I also like how you did the Republican Guard. Bravo!
Thanks guys!

Darius: I am actually a pretty slow painter usually, but when there's a tournie coming up, I can paint like crazy! Regardless of how fast you paint, 6-8 hour painting sessions tend to help finish stuff!Tongue

I'll try to update soon, I've been pretty lax, I used up all my painting mojo for the tournie, so hopefully there will be another coming up soon. I am planning on making an arch lector on war altar, using some chariot with a big soup pot on the back, and pulled by the crewmen of the halfling hot pot(like 6 of em)Cool

This army is so full of win its going to explode from over exposure to pure awesomeness.
Thanks everyone!
