This might be a silly question but... is it stated anywhere that an Independant Character may not join him/herself to a Regiment of Renown?
In the FAQ, it states that non-Dogs of War characters may not join Regiments of Renown.
So basically, it's fair game for our characters to join them except where otherwise specified (like the Cursed Company).
Ah, right.
