He sighted. His day wasn't getting any better by the time he looked down the harbor street. The smell of sea, rotting fish and black powder were awful. But still, he walked down the street. Many caravels were sitting on the port this week. He remembered the terrible voyage when he sailed his own from Magritta to Luccini. He remembered the scurvy that hit his sailors. Terrible bussiness.

But now he had something more important to do. As he went down the street, many sailors watched him carefully. Leborio was a thin man, but a tall one, nonetheless. Some said he was arabyan, other said he was born in Tobaro after the Sultan's Invasion. His muscled black skin was indeed an uncommon sighting at the New World. He mused:"I'm doing better than my father. I'm doing better than any of these sea dogs."

Drago was born in Estalia. In Bilbali, actually. His father fought the war against Araby, and returned with some sizeable wealth. And a slave. The slave that would become his mother. Leborio wasn't ashamed of his heritage. He had heard of Al Muktar's legend, and was proud of his skin.

If he wasn't the right hand of Lucca Heavy-Hand, the mercenary who brought all these people into the New World, many would provoke him on the street. Would try to make him small. Would humiliate him.

But Prince Lucca, his protector, would keep him from such treatment. Lucca was a mercenary from Remas who gathered an army, to conquer the New World. When Marco Colombo returned from Lustria with all that gold, he need to try it. And he was suceeding.

The Heavy-Handed arrived at Lustria a few months ago. And he built the first colony on the southern jungles. Castelnuovo he called it. And then, he went inside the hot jungles. In three weeks, he returned with lizard-slaves and riches. So much riches. But he didn't return to Tilea. Declaring himself Merchant Prince of Castelnuovo, he started to trade spices and wood from the New World to his homeland. And he grew fat, powerfull and still very strong.

And for that, Leborio didn't wanted to stop serving his protector. After all, Lucca almost raised Drago when he was just few years old and his father felt sick. But still, his job, today, wasn't a pleasant one. A rat filled frigate arrived, and the order was clear. To kill everyone.
