My dwai captain Gordi Gordilsson is a old hand at war as are most dwarf mercs. So I was wondering what is the best fluffy combo I can get?
I have come up with the following so far:
Combo#1, The Stone:
Veteran Campaigner and Grizzeld Warrior or Hurico's Club with shield and The Armour of Forturne seems like an interesting combo. This would make Gordi a stick in the mud sort of guy that leads a unit of Pikes.
Combo#2, The Brawler:
Gordi, with the Boldness and Blademaster traits likes to get his unit to grips with the foe as fast as he can and with as much damage as he can.
I would eather take Hurico's Club, The Helm of Myrmidia or The Mirror Shield or the Scimitar of Lashiek or Blackbeard's Cuttlesses or even Ruthgar the Red's Berserker Axe. These choices depend on the army I would be faceing of course.
Combo#3, The Ranger:
Feeling sneaky, Gordi places some traps and waits for the foe.
I would take Drill Master and Prepared Battlefield.
I would then place the trap and hide the unit's near by with the Deck Sweeper and when/if the unit fais it's check fire with crossboews and sweeper and run away.
So do you guys have any ideas if not what do you think of these?
