well i been looking to try this
i found out that a local hobby store carrys this
for us lucky people in the states
it Hobby Lobby and it a low price of 7.99
Care to explain what it is for those who don't know?
I've been using Milliput for more years than i can remember, it was what my old man used on his model aircraft and i learnt to use it from him.
It's ok for gap filling and smoothing out bits and pieces but not "thick" enough for sculpting i wouldn't have thought?

EDIT: just to point out, i'm a useless sculptor and i don't even try so i leave it to Kera's superior judgement as to its usefulness in this role
So sorry !! it would be a green stuff like puddy !! that over here in the states it rare
i have some friend in Europe that use it instead of green stuff
and i alway want to try it !!
it another thing that great that England Brought us

so to sum it up its like green stuff use to make miniatures
It's about £2.50 here on average (about $4) but that is for the standard yellow/green stuff.
So if any of you yanks have trouble getting hold of the stuff the model shop next door to where i work has loads of it.
Sweet !! that's great to know !!!
Its great stuff

I'd also suggest DAB modelling clay if you can find it, I have no skill with figure sculpting but its great for scenery.
Milliput is alright. I don't like it for sculpting, I think I prefer green stuff for that.
But I find it's a lot better for filling gaps as it's a bit clayey in how it works. So water seems to make it more milkier, to get it into gaps a lot easier.

Yeah, since I don't like it for sculpting, and I bought some a while ago, I generally use it for building up bases.
Dba is that the trade mark name ??Uryens
I got it wrong

DAS Modelling Clay

You don't mean DAS clay do you Uryens?
I have a block of DAS clay here, I really should try and use it.
its ok Uryen !! i understand if you where perfect, you be a woman!!
I'll have you know I am not, I have man bits and everything.

Wink
does anyone have a local store that sells GS in boxes? i need a box and no one sells it in florida except the GW indies with thier blister packs.
well they have it in tubes up here the blue in one and the yellow in a diffrent
gale force 9 sell it in a blister pack
A company called Boards-to-Pieces also sells it in the same quantity as GF9. Reaper also sells green and gray stuff.
I'm looking for a good cheap putty because my shieldbreaker dwarves need a bit of work but I'm just thinking about getting greenstuff from a cheaper source. But I had come across miliputty so I'll be interested to hear what you guys have to say about it before I buy a bucket of it.
i use the millput for bigger scale pieces it ok but it not great for detalis
the black and white stuff it grey when mix also comes from gale force nine
it great for beginners less sticky and does detail good
but the best is green stuff i use Vaseline on the tool to make it less sticky
Good tip with the vaseline there Kera, i'll bear that in mind when i start my Leman Russ Refit project.
here is a better tip Baumann if you are having problem and it not getting the green stuff smooth
put some rubbing alcohol on it. just wet the tool and it will do the trick!!
this comes in handy if you mix alot more blue than yellow
