Kera is slightly over the legal drinking age (I believe).

But then again, that never seemed to stop the kids before.

Isnt it varied state by state?

Stupid laws anyway, can drive, own a gun, join the army and vote before you can drink?

How on earth can you make a reasoned decision on life if you havent contemplated it over a beer?

The ages use to vary state to state, when I was growing up Pennsylvania's age was 21 but over the Delaware River in New Jersey it was 18. I think the Federal Government forced the state to go to 21 by threatening to cut stop funds to the states, the same way they got the states to accept the 55 MPH speed limit in the 70's.

highway speed 65 for all!! drinking age is 21

In Sweden the drinking age is 18, as it should be. But you are not allowed to buy alcohol outside the pub until you're 20! Crappy system...

Interestingly there is no minimum age for drinking in the UK, its just illegal to serve someone under 18.

Its why England is brilliant.

PS: Here in Germany you are allowed to drink when you are 16! When you grow up in Bavaria (like me) it can be earlier ! Good save the beer and german alcohol-law!
